What will I learn during the Diploma Course?
Orientation held over 5 full days at the Bangkok training center in Thailand provides an overview for the course, and key highlights for each of the modules. In addition the tutor will assist each of the participants in choosing a study option to pursue for the duration of their studies.
During the orientation workshops participants will be given a grounding in the course format under direct supervision of the tutor and coursework portfolio requirements are outlined. Study groups are assigned and communication protocol established for the distance learning component of the course.
Upon completion of the orientation workshops participants will embark on distance study of the ten units, paced according to the demands of the participants. An online resource library is accessible to participants through the unique CyberClass learning forum, and communication with the tutor is conducted online from any internet portal convenient to the participants. Study grouping provides the basis for sections of the discussions, while assignments and coursework portfolios submitted to the tutor provide the basis for feedback. Recorded lessons and reports submitted to the tutor from the participants actual teaching environment are required for fulfillment of the practical teaching component of the course.
